cleaning.conference.shop

i feel like all i have done since monday evening is clean. we havent listed our house on the market, but our friend that is a realtor wanted to show our house yesterday. she gave me a good notice, but i wanted to clean everything. so yesterday i did all the laundry and cleaned the whole house. that takes awhile when you have 4 kids that go from room to room making messes. i wanted to "detail" clean and de-clutter. she showed it, but she thinks our house is not the price range they were looking for. that is okay. i love a clean house.

ricky got his equipment yesterday. it was a bit of a catastrophe to get in the shop. he had to have a fork lift, which he borrowed from a neighbor in his complex. The truck driver drove the fork lift, which he had never done before. Then the truck driver asked for $1800. holy cow, that would have been a nice thing to know before he came. we have had problems with our "guy" we have been working with. i think when you pay the amount of money that we paid for this equipment shipping should be free AND they should arrange for the fork lift. anyways, that was not a fun surprise. ricky is excited for his equipment though.

i had parent teacher conference yesterday with Races kindergarten teacher. she said he is such a good boy. he is really focusing on his writing. he is really getting the idea of sounding out words, even the middle sounds. and in his journal he really tries to do the correct spaces between the words. she said he has good handwriting. i though it was horrible. she said she loves having him in her class. his journal was really cute. i guess when they get to school they have to draw a pic then write what it is about. it can be anything. a few of races were, "i like cookies", "i like people", " i love dad". they were so cute.

today is nothing too major. i want to get out to see the shop sometime. i want have to run an errand for ricky too. sometimes i wish i could just take race out of school so i didnt have to be back to get him or take him. i am taking kali and trent out of pre-school. kali hasnt been really wanting to go and since it was so expensive for both of them i figured i wouldnt fight it and just take them out. kali does soccer on mondays and plays basketball for city of peoria so it is not like she doesnt have anything to look forward to. trent does soccer too on mondays. i felt sort of bad, but they havent asked for it.
