the week

monday-we went to work. then ricky went to the dentist. he had a filling come out and now his tooth cracked so he has to get a cap on it. no fun for him. then trent had basketball practice
tuesday-i stayed home. i do like to do something every other day. actually i went with my mom on a few errands for work but home most of the day doing laundry and cleaning up. then rickys parents came over for dinner. it is always fun when they come over.
wednesday-i stayed home again. we are down to one car so ricky had to be home by 2 because the kids get out at 2 on wednesdays. i ran fozzy to the groomers. race had scouts at 6 then basketball at 7:30-8:30. Ricky had mutual at . Wednesdays are crazy days.
thursday-i had a hair appt. Yeah! i went red again underneath. i like it. then when i got home tyson and averi just went down so I was able to do all my ordering and invoicing for next week. I normally do that on Fridays when Ricky is home. It was nice to get that done. then we did dinner and ricky went to swim.
friday (today)-We let Race ditch school today. he got perfect attendance for last quarter but he asked to stay home today and sometimes i just like that. we get to spend more individual time talking. we took him to get new shoes. we went to scottsdale mall because we wanted to get nice shoes that will last through the other two boys. we could not find any shoes in the whole mall. he has wide feet and a tall insole which means thick feet. so then we found out that Stride Rite had shoes that would work so we drove to PV mall because they have a Stride Rite store. so we found him some shoes that were not on sale. but they did have a fray on the strap so i said i would take them for 50% off because they were damaged and she said okay. NICE! I totally scored. then we came home and super glued where it was frayed and that was that. Then we picked up Kali and Trent from school and then went to Target to get a present for tomorrow bday party Race is going to after basketball. fun fun. Ricky went to swim tonight. he loves it. this is the first time he has been to a group swim with a coach. he is learning a lot and gets a good workout. Trent went with him tonight because he wants to start swimming.

first trip alone

our first trip alone was awesome. we had so much fun. as we sat in the airport we couldnt help but smile and laugh that we were all alone for 3 days. when we landed in LA i had a message from the school nurse that kali was sick with a fever. by the time i got a hold of someone Tori, the wonderful babysitter had already gone to pick her up. Go Tori! she had the first experience of the crazy life. she had to load up tyson and averi and get to the school then when she got there averi and tyson were asleep. she woke up tyson and made him walk and she carried in averi. poor tori. she was a good sport. so ricky and i got on our super shuttle and went to our hotel. way nice hotel. it was the westin long beach. we sort of thought since we never get away we would go to a nicer place that was directly across from our convention we were going too so that would also save on a car rental. it was really nice. we went to lunch and went to the convention center. it was so relaxing being on our own schedule doing what we wanted when we wanted. it was awesome. the convention was good. we found some cool new stuff. ricky ooohed and awwwed at some fancy equipment. we met some cool people. then we went to a movie. :) we love the movies. it is brain dead time and very relaxing. then we went to dinner and went back to the hotel to lay in bed and watch TV. so fun! then saturday morning i slept dead until 8. it was great! then we went to the gym at the hotel and it was packed. then we showered and went to breakfast and the convention. then we went to the aquarium, which was so busy because there was a special event going on, so we went to lunch and a movie. then we went to dinner and another movie. i know 3 movies in 24 hours. we really do love the movies and they were right there by the convention so very easy. i was sad saturday because trent made his first basket at basketball. i couldnt even talk to him on the phone. i started crying when he told me. this was a big deal because trent has been trying to make a shot all season. he can hardly get it to the rim but he is getting better and better. i dont like missing things like that. Then sunday morning we went to breakfast and went back to the hotel to get ready for our trip home. we were excited to see the kids. Tori did great. i am sure she doesnt want to come over anytime soon. i think she went to bed each night at like 8:30. she was pooped. the kids missed us. tyson probably the most. kali said she was crying to sleep the other night because she missed us. race and trent and averi were excited too. we got lots of hugs and kisses. home sweet home. there is nothing like home!

so tuesday was a normal day. back to school and work. i stayed home and worked and played with the kids. this one car thing isnt too bad. but some days it is. today was one. i wanted to go run errands but that is okay i just did it when ricky came home.

wednesday i had an old trainer of mine come over to set me up on a routine that i can do at home. i am trying to get some muscles. he took my body fat, not as bad as i thought but there was LOTS of room to improve :). ricky and i have been eating better since the new year and it is totally helping. i have a lost some weight just by eating better so that is good.

it was 100th day at school. i wanted to go into trents classroom because they were doing a bunch of crafts. ricky took tyson and averi to work then back to pick me up. i had fun. they rotated classrooms 4 times and i stayed in trents classroom. when ricky came i felt bad leaving the teacher because two other helpers were leaving too so Ricky came in with the kids for the last hour. they had fun. in our classroom they made 100 day hats. really cute. Tyson made one too. then we came home and worked and played with the kids. wednesday is early release so they get out at 2. it was a fun day.


thursday ricky went to work and my mom picked me up and we went to the mall. tyson has been asking her to take him on the carousel at PV mall and get lunch. it was quick. we ate then took the kids down to the play area. averi had fun. she liked the play area, it was cute. we met my grandma and mary for lunch too. i got two new shirts at buckle. ricky and i NEVER shop. we just really dont have the money to buy stuff we dont need. i think i would really love to shop if i could though. but i did get two new shirts at buckle for our little trip.

so this is friday morning. we are leaving today. i am already choking up. wow i have a hard time leaving my kids. i just get nervous that something might happen and i wont see them again. i know, nothing will but you never know. i am not nervous they wont be loved or taken care of, i just like to be around if anyone needs me. this will be weird. this is rickys and mines first time leaving the kids, not local, in 8 years. one time we went to a hotel near by and another we went to my parents cabin but came home and those two events were at least a few years ago. so here is to our trip! i am excited. we are only gone 2 days, 48 hours. Tori, my nephew ronny's girlfriend is coming to babysit the kids. she LOVES the kids. she has been in our family for about 2 1/2 years now. she has lots of plans for them. Friday night-movie and craft (that she bought) Saturday-McCormcick Ranch Train Park and dinner at her house in PV. Sunday-Chillax at home until church. I left her 3 pages of info for 2 days. crazy but it makes me feel better. 5 kids come with a lot of to-do's and FYI's. for example boys have basketball and pictures on saturday, that alone takes some time and notes. my mom is doing trent and needs his packet and he is at two different schools. and mary is doing race and needs his packet. crazy. here is to my longest post ever!

science center

we went with races scouts to the science center down town yesterday since it was a day off school for MLK day. we had fun. we could totally have passes there. there is just so much to see and learn. we pretty much just ran around because we were on a time restraint so we werent able to explain a lot of what the different items were. really fun though.

here are some pics of averi that aunt mary took. averi loves girlie stuff. it is really cute. who knows how long it will last. kali used to like it too. :) we all know kali is not the girliest girl. :) just like her mom.

biggest job

RIcky and I had our biggest order ever. We printed 15000 shirts. We did them for a friend of our that actually got the order from Casino Arizona. It took our printer and two other people 2 weeks to do on our automatic press.

this week has been normal. basketball practices and homework and work. back to routine from the break.

last night we got brody. jeff and becky went out town for a couple nights. he woke up about 4 times so i am not sure if that is normal or not. he is doing pretty good though. we went to the park with gma, mary and bonnie. it was fun. here are some pics of gma, and ricky and brody.

today

i was home today. besides the two work errands i was home. it was really nice. i am rarely home. ricky and i have a go go problem. we always want to go and do something somewhere. we stay home on sundays and that is about it.

I wanted to post this picture of the laundry buckets again. Here you will see who wears the most clothes. TRENT. Who has the least, Kali my girl. She does take after her mom. SIMPLE, not very high maintenance at all. I did not do all this laundry today if you are wondering. This is about 6 days worth. I do a load in the morning while making breakfast and one at night while making dinner. I fold and put in everyone individual buckets right when it comes out the dryer. Ricky and mine and Averis buckets are on the floor. I love the routine.

SNOW

we took our annual trip to the cabin to play in the snow. it was beautiful. it was sunny, not too cold, and totally fun. we go sledding in the neighbors driveway. so up my alley. we dont have to load up kids and snow gear. we go out back and take off. PERFECT. if anyone needs to go potty, they go inside. I LOVE IT!
P.S. i have no make up on. dont look too close. it is the cabin. we dont see any outsiders for two days. :)
