Pizza!

Tyson had his first piece of pizza. We love pizza in this house. He loved it too. He is totally eating all "big" people food. It is so cute.

Race and Kali had another basketball game this morning. Our team is getting better each game. The two referees, which are the same ones every week, are so sweet to Kali. They totally help her. Today one of them was holding her hands up in the air to show her how to block her man. They also gave her the ball to try to shoot. The whole game stopped so Kali could try to shoot. It was so cute and alittle embarrassing.

Tonight we are going out to eat with my parents. That will be fun too.

A Fluke????

So it is 7:00a.m. and Tyson is still asleep. He slept through the night! YIPPEE!!!!! Is this a fluke or not? I hope not. The other 3 have ugly coughs. Trent had a fever all day yesterday. I hope Tyson doesnt wake up with it. This week has been quit the norm, except having sick kiddos. I cleaned my whole house yesterday top to bottom. That felt good. Other than that it has just been the normal run around errands, work a little from home and stuff like that.

Cabin

On Saturday after the basketball game and Race's friends bday party we went up to my parents cabin with some of our friends from Gilbert. There was so much snow. The cabin was freezing when we got there and it took until 10:00 to warm up. The kids took some sleds next door to the neighbors and slid down the their drive way. It was so much fun. Tyson was sick the whole time. He had a fever, and a cold and he is teething like crazy. He is getting two on top and his third on the bottom. Poor boy. We had fun. Now it is back to a normal week. Not too much going on. Just the norm. Soccertots today, basketball tomorrow, mutual on Wednesday. I need to go out to Gilbert this week to register Kali for kindergarten so she can get in the all day program. We want to go see my mom too. She had surgery on her foot last Thursday. She is pretty much home all week. Here are some pics from the cabin, and trent playing at home.

Last night we went out with some of our friends, the Bairds and the Schlegels. They are so much fun. They are so funny. Today we are off to basketball, then a bday party at the bowling alley and then to the cabin. It is snowing up there so it will be freezing, but fun. The kids are excited. I think Tyson might have an ear infection. He has a runny nose and is so fussy. He is also getting in his two big teeth on top. He is SUPER needy.

iPhone

check out the new iPhone that will be coming out in about 5 months. WOW! I dont know how to put a link on my blog. I am not that techy with it. the iPhone is made by Apple of course.

I hope everyone is going to watch the new American Idol. It was last night. We think it is hilarious!
Wells lets see. Last Sunday Race stayed the night at his best buds house Kyle Conway in Gilbert since there was no school on Monday. He, of course had a blast. Since there was no school Monday Ricky and I and the rest of the kiddos spent the day together. Ricky started out with a meeting and so he ran to his meeting. It was about 9 miles away. I took Kali and Trent to Soccertots. Then we picked Ricky up and we headed to Tempe. There we did some shirt stuff and looked at a few spaced for our new equipment coming. Then we went to Gilbert to look at a few spaces there too. For those that do not know yet, we have decided to move back to Gilbert. There are many reasons why, but the biggest reasons are to have our kiddos grow up around more members and to be closer to Rickys family. Ricky is the second oldest and so there are 3 of his siblings that are just starting their families. The grandchildren are all my kids' ages. Ricky grew up in Gilbert and he really liked it out there. So anyways, we found a space out there that we are really interested in. We are really excited. Yesterday was run around day. Grocery store, bank, and return movies. Today is cleaning day, YIPEE, NOT!

ITS FRIDAY!

Yeah its Friday! I love Fridays. We dont have too many plans this weekend. We need to find a space for our screen.printing equipment coming on the 27th. Race and Kali have their first basketball game tomorrow. We are all excited for that. Ricky and I want to do some landscape work at home and have a few errands to run. That is about it. I love weekends like that. I think on Sunday after church Race is going to stay the night at his best buds house in Gilbert. No school Monday!

Another Day

Yesterday was a fun filled day. Started with lunch with Jeff and Becky before they left then I volunteered in Races classroom, then I had kids over playing. My kids love having their friends over to ride bikes in the cul-de-sac. I love it too. It is so fun to have kids running through my house. We have such good neighbors here.

Today I was able to stay home and get laundry and SOME cleaning done. That always feels good. I had Nancis boys today. I love having them and my kiddos love playing with them.

Ricky is off to Mutual. We are home for the night. YIPPEE!!!

Pump it up

Last Friday Race and Kali both had a bday party at Pump it UP. As always they love that place. It was fun.

Sunday I had Sharing Time and that went well. The kids started school today and I really wasnt ready for them to go. I love having them home. I think it is the whole "schedule" that I dont like. I like that they get out and learn and play, but I dont like the schedule. I think next year with Race and Kali both all day will be easier. Right now the driving is crazy. 5 times a day I have to go to the school. Then Trent had soccertots today. We started that back up. Mondays at 10:00. Then tomorrow is volunteering at the school and basketball practice. Ricky is coaching two teams so hopefully it wont be too crazy. We will have 2 games on Saturdays. Race and Kali are on the same team so that will be fun. This will be one of the only season because it is a 5-6 age group. Wednesdays mutual for Ricky. Back to routine.

Energy!

I finally had my energy back yesterday. I started an antibiotic and it sure was working. Thanks Jared! I did all the laundry in the house including two beds, I sorted all of our 2006 bills, and papers, and we played outside of course. It was fun. The zone thing seems to still be working well with the kids. They really enjoy trying to keep their zone clean. It is funny. Race loves taking out the trash and Kali loves setting the table for dinner. I love it! No crying! So I found out about a couple cool websites too. www.ldsscripturetools.com, www.sugardoodle.com, and www.theideadoor.com. On LDS scripture tool you can enter a date when you want to complete the book of mormon and it will calculate how much you have to read to reach that goal. It is pretty neat.

I am going to start a new menu planning. I am tired of trying to think of new meals to feed my family. Ricky suggested that I make a menu for one month and keep doing the same ones every month. Does that make sense? So the first Monday of every month could be spaghetti with meatballs, garlic bread and caesar salad. My mom is seriously the best cook I know. The dinners I grew up with are so simple and yummy. She is going to help me fill up all 30 meals. I am at about 26 with the ones Ricky and I knew off the top of our heads. They are all pretty simple meals, but they are my families classics. We will see how it goes.

Today we have a birthday party to attend at Pump It Up. It is for two sisters at our school. One is in Races class and the other in Kalis so they are both invited. I am not sure if I am staying or dropping them off. We will see what they want me to do.

Mexico

We got back from Mexico on Monday. It was really fun. The condo was really nice and the weather was nice too. It was the same here so no swimming in the ocean, but the kids had fun at the pool and jacuzzi. I had a fever the first day and really did not feel well the next day either. It was fun to hang with the family. We played games on New Years Eve and most of the girls crashed, but the boys stayed up and watched a movie. I am not quite sure why people stay up. I guess to say Happy New Year and go to bed. I think I am getting old because that is not a big enough incentive for me to stay up that late. We did a little Mexcio shopping one day. I have a hard time with Mexico because the people there are so different. There is trash all over and they dont seem to care about it. They have dogs with broken legs wondering around and it doesnt bother them. A different country, a different culture. They ocean was really pretty. I love the water.

Tyson is officially crawling. He prefers army on the hard floor, but on carpet he sure crawls. We went to visit my mom today because they leave on a cruise on Sat. I have a really bad sinus infection but I got an antibiotic today so hopefully I can get back to normal. My energy is pretty low.

I had the kids start a new chore chart. They seem to be enjoying it. Along with the normal scriptures, prayers, brush teeth, take out trash, set table, I added Clean Zone. I give each child a zone for the day. It is either Family Room, Toy Room, or Bathroom. They have to check on it throughout the day to make sure it is picked up. They dont have to actually clean it, just make sure everything is put away. I heard Kali say Race stop making my zone a mess. It was funny.

I am just trying to get caught up on all the laundry around here from the trip. I really dont want to do any of it, I just want to sit on my bum.
