Happy New Year

We are off to Rocky Point. Rickys sister has a condo down there so we are all going there for the weekend. We are renting a condo right next to them because there is so many of us going. It will be fun to hang with the family, but I am a little bummed we cant go to the beach. I guess the weather is just like here. We will be back on Monday. Have a good New Years!

Merry Christmas

Wow, what a weekend. We were driving like crazy. We went out to Gilbert on Saturday night for the Manning Xmas Eve party. That was fun. Steve told one of his stories and it was excellent. It was hilarious. I am going to start video taping them all. He is just the best writer and story teller. My kids love his stories. Then we stayed the night at Rickys parents house because we had another Xmas Eve party for the Rogers on Xmas Eve. That was really fun. It was at Rickys parents house this year. Whoevers house it is is in charge of the activities. Steve told his story again and then we went on this huge trailer to look for Santa because he fell off his sleigh right in their neighborhood. We picked up Santa on this trailer and took him back to Rickys parents house and all the kids were able to talk to Santa. It was really cute. He was a good Santa. Race asked him if he was going to be on the nice list this year. Race was very concerned about that. Kali was sick for those 2 days. She had a fever so I felt so bad for her. All she did was lay on the couch.

Then we came home that night. We had a fun Christmas morning. I didnt take any pics I vidoed everything though. Kali was still sick and that was so sad. She didnt even open any presents. Then we took off to Nancis house for breakfast. Christmas breakfast is seriously the best breakfast around. My mom makes her cinnamon rolls that are just the best. Race began to get sick at Nancis. He was sick the rest of the day as well as Kali. Then we took off to the Rogers' house. We did all our exchanges there. We found out the Holly was prego! Yippee!! I am so excited. It will be so fun to have a new mommy around. Then we were supposed to go to dinner at my parents house but the kids were too sick so we just went home.

They were both so sick yesterday too. Race is feeling better today but Kali is still sleeping. This is day 5 of a fever for Kali. UHH! Poor girl.

Yesterday Ricky didnt work so we all ran errands together. We didnt get much done. Of course Ricky found out I bought him a present. We werent exchanging this year, but I was trying to be sneaky. But of course somehow he always figures it out. We took the kids to see The Santa Clause 3. I have to say it made me sick to see how much they charge at the movies. I havent been to too many movies since we had Tyson, so I was a little shocked to see that my ticket was $9.50 and the kids were $6.50. That is ridiculous. I think we still start waiting until movies come out on DVD for our kids. It doesnt matter how much money one has, that is just ridiculous. Okay enough venting.

We have our Manning Christmas Eve party today. That wil be fun. Kali is not feeling too well though. She had a fever last night so we will see if we will go. She has a croupy sounding cough. She slept good though.

We did all our wrapping last night. It feels so good to not have to do it on Christmas Eve. Normally we wait and wrap all the presents and put together the Santa gifts. We did it ALL last night. YEAH! We tend to get home from our Rogers Christmas Eve party late so it is so nice to be done. Our garage is a disaster because everything is hiding all the presents. The garage will be a project for after Christmas.

Okay so I love putting up my Christmas decorations, but I also love bringing them down. I feel like my house is extra cluttery. I am ready to get everything back to normal and get organized for the new year. I love that.

School is OVER!

Tyson is doing so much better today. Trent started the diarrhea though. School is over! Yeah!! I am ready for a break. It will be nice not to have to drive back and forth to the school 5 times a day. Ricky is not working tomorrow either so that will be fun. We rearranged the bedrooms today. All four of our kids were sleeping in the same room. Now Trent and Kali share one and Race and Tyson share the other one. We put their chairs up in Race and Tysons room so they have a book and movie area up there now. It really opened up the toy room. It will work out really nice.

I am almost done shopping. I am looking for one more item, but no one had it today. I went to one place and Ricky went to 3 places trying to find those power scissor from Black and Decker. They look really cool. Time to start wrapping.

WOW

Okay, so Tyson has had awful diarrhea and that is really starting to bug me. He screams when I wipe him. It is so sad. He is starving, but I dont want to give him formula. We had Rogers family photos yesterday. They turned out alright. It was absolutely freezing and so noone wanted to move around or take any time. I wished we would have been closer together with such a big group so we can see each other.

My mom is coming over today to help me. YIPPEEE!!! I need to run errands, but Tyson is no mood to do that. I still have Christmas shopping to do.

Crazy Week

It is officially the Christmas week. Tonight a pary in Gilbert, Tuesday a party in Gilbert with family photos, Saturday a party in Gilbert, Sunday a party in gilbert, and Monday a party at Nancis then another one in Gilbert then dinner at my moms. Maybe we should track our miles this week. Holy cow that is a lot of driving with 4 kids. Race, Kali and Trent are used to it, but Tyson is not. He does not like his carseat. I cant wait until he faces forward.

Well today Ricky is getting released form YM pres. He is pretty bummed about it. He is getting put back in the YM as the priest quorum advisor. He is glad for that. He loves his YM. With him starting a new business this was a good idea. Now he has no more meetings on Sunday. YEAH!!! I think Ricky really didnt mind the meetings now that they are gone. He will miss them.

Christmas Play

Today was Races Kindergarten play. He did awesome. He knew all the words and actions to every song. I was very impressed. He is just so much fun! Tonight is our ward xmas party so that will be fun too.

Junk

Well lets see...Tyson is officially all over the house. He crawls half the time and army crawls the other half. It still shocks me when I walk in the room and he is not there. He makes his way around the house very fast. He is not going to be a bum scooter like Trent was. That was funny.

So Race wants one of those electric scooters. Our neighbor boy has one. We have actually bought him one, but Ricky thinks he might kill himself on it. Any advice? That is what he told Santa he wanted.

Last night we did a little bday party for Kali at the park. She had a blast. I cant belive she is almost 5. Rosie the guinea pig is gone. She now has a friend at Mary's house. Fun for her because lately she has been a little neglected. I know Bonnie and her friends will have fun with 2 pigs now. I might miss her a little bit.

I will send some pics later because my sweet friend Erin has my lens and I am too lazy to get my other one out and put it on my camera. She was doing some photos shoots this weekend so she needed it.

Christmas Cards

Can I just say how much I love going to my mailbox this time of year. I love looking at everyones Christmas cards. They are so fun to open and see pics and letters.

The kids have a Gingerbread shop at school this week. This is where they can go and buys things for their parents and siblings. Kali brought home her "wish list" and moms present was $1.00 and dads was $7.00. Who does she love more. Just kidding, but it is so cute for them to be able to shop for others.

Random

On Saturday was Ricky 2nd Triathlon. He did really well. You can check out his results online at http://www.dcbadventures.com/recent/AGES-M.txt. The kids love going to watch dad. All the family came to support which was really nice since they live so far away. Thanks! Then we had a Xmas party to go to which we were only there until 9 when I got another migraine. UGHH! I hate those. Sunday was good at church. Ricky is in YM and I am in the the Primary so we are busy. We love it though.

Joining the blogging world

Okay so I check now 4 blogs a day so I thought I would join this crazy world. I have some family members that live far away and I thought this would be fun and easy for them to see what is going on in the crazy Rogers house.
Ricky and I have been married 7 years now and have 4 kiddos. Race 6, Kali 5 (almost), Trent 3 and Tyson 8 months. They are fun and crazy. Check back soon for more posts and some pics.
