monday-presidents day. all the kids home from school. we went to gilbert for my sister in law Hollys bday party at the park. it was fun for the kids to see their cousins. trent went to a cool bday party at Ridemakerz. he had a blast.
tuesday-trent stayed home because he fell and scraped his face really bad monday. he had a swollen nose and lip.
wednesday-everyone went to school. i did laundry and catch up on the house.
thursday-trent home from school with a fever.
friday-trent and kali home from school with a fever.
saturday-clean the church at 8, basketball at 9, primary activity at 10. then home. ricky sick in bed with fever.

i sure hope i dont get what everyone has. my biggest fear is my house getting out of control. i dont like catch on the house.

here are random pics of the family. Averi LOVES the trampoline. she will be out there for hours on it. she lays on her back and talks to herself or the birds. it is so cute. these pics of tyson and averi are funny because they were cracking up at each other one morning. then here is kali ready to defend herself from her brothers in dart tag.

my oldest brother bobby has 3 kids but they oldest is 22 and the youngest is 13 so they dont have babies anymore. last night mary calls me at 6:30 and Bobby wants Tyson and Averi. So she came and got them and took them to her house. Here are some pics of their night. Tyson and Averi love their uncle Bob. This is Tori the babysitter. Just kidding. She is my nephews girlfriend. She is the one that watched the kids while Ricky and I went to Long Beach. The kids LOVE her.

week update

sunday-church and dinner at our house my family. we normally do it the first sunday of the month but it was superbowl so we post poned. i totally forgot to take pics. ricky and i tag teamed church. averi had diarrhea. i went to the first two hours because i was teaching 2nd hour then he went third hour because he was teaching.
monday-i stayed home and worked. trent had basketball
tuesday-my nephew had his second baby girl. she was having some complications so we were all a bit worried.
wednesday-kids got out at 2 like normal, scouts at 3:30. my friend jenn came over with her kids. so fun to see her! race basketball at 5:30 then my VT at 5:45. Ricky had mutual at 6:30. a more filled afternoon.
thursday-normal day. i went to work. i got to see london and brooklyn. they are getting so big. they are so cute!
friday-donuts with dads at 8 a.m., delivered shirts in Peoria, then ricky went to swim, then i went to school Valentine parties from 1:30-3:30. then Ricky and i went out. we went to celebrate our Valentines on Friday. No crowds. we like it like that.
saturday-basketball games, and something fun with the kids. probably a movie. race wants to see mall cop. that will be their valentine.

saturday

race had a basketball game at 9. he played great. he really loves basketball. it was a very intense game. very aggressive. then came home and i took trent to his bball game by myself. that was fun. ricky stayed home with averi because she wasnt feeling well. she has a bit of tummy issues.
then trent and i went to the grocery store for the week. then came home and made lunch and ricky went to costco for the week. wow our grocery bill is just getting bigger and bigger for some reason.i think i need to make a savings just for food when my kids are in high school. they eat a ton now!
then i went to a baptism for a boy in our ward and trent wanted to come with me. trent is just so cute. he is so fun to hang with. i love my trenters.
then we went to dinner with the kids and home to prepare lessons for tomorrow. fun day!

kali essay

kali wrote an essay for a contest. she wrote it all by herself and typed it all by herself.

Get active and be healthy. and always get strong. and always eat vegetables. and always do your chores. and always be kind. And I like to be kind because I will have more friends. and always exercise every day and drink water and eat healthy things. to get healthy you can run and swim and ride bikes. if you don’t you will get fat. and I like to exercise because it makes me happy and always be healthy and strong.

kali brought home this hilarious card she made for Race. ricky can i couldnt stop laughing. the front looks all cute and nice with a picture of him smiling and then you open it and and is says poop. HILARIOUS! only kali would do that sort of funny thing.

the family that plays together stays together

so we have been wanting to take the kids to see Hotel for Dogs. we go to the Esplanade theatres for free. Hotel for Dogs is only playing at 1:20 now. On Wednesdays our kids get out of school at 2 so we decided to pull them out at 1 and go to the movies. they loved it. race invited a friend and he actually came with us. it was a cute movie and a fun ditch day with the family. thanks to my mom for watching tyson and averi.
today i was home with tyson and averi. i did all the laundry, hard floors, bathrooms, dusted and windexed windows, tv's and various pictures. i also went around with a wet rag and cleaned walls and door jams and light switches. AND put a bunch of random stuff away. a very productive day at home. tomorrow is vacuuming and i am done for another week. ricky didnt get home until 7 tonight. that is way late for him. we will have the day together tomorrow, except swim. ricky will go to that and i am visiting teaching in the morning.

home today

yesterday i went to work to sort and get product ready for this week. then we went to rickys moms house to see babies. i havent seen hollys babies in so long. they are just adorable. then we ran a few work errands and home for homework. trent had a basketball make up game so ricky and i went to that while bonnie babysat. then when we got home she wanted to stay so ricky and i took off to the movies. we saw new in town. it was cute.
today was fun. i was home. i sorted all the kids' books by AR reading level. it was a very tedious job. i felt brain dead when i was done. that was a project that needed to be done.
our new thing of eating dinner early has been really nice. we eat around 4. the kids and ricky are home so we thought instead of the kids snacking and not eating dinner we decided to eat first then if they want a snack after bath they can have one. much nicer. they actually eat all their dinner. averi has been hilarious today. she keeps going out the doggy door and to the back door. she thinks she is funny.

friday-normal day. hung out at home. ricky went to swim so the kids and i had movie night in the family room. they wanted to sleep on the couches. for some reason sleeping in the family room is way more fun than their beds.
saturday-trent had a basketball game and i got to see my first basket. he did awesome. ellen and steve came out to see their games. race had a game too. he made 3 baskets. he had some great passes and defense. he is getting so much better at basketball. then we came home and chillaxed. ran a few errands and got ready for the week.
sunday-i had to substitute for the valiant 9 class and then go into YW to share some stories of womanhood. then of course SUPER BOWL! Go Cards! we didnt win but it was so cool watching us try. We had our own party at home. I bought a take and bake from costco and some wings. then we did ice cream sundaes. back to Eating for Life tomorrow. today was our cheat day. I am going to go strict with workouts and eating starting tomorrow. 2 weeks and i want to see a difference.
