Here are some pics of the last week or so.  We went to the cabin for Memorial Day.  It was really relaxing and fun.  It was freezing outside.  It actually snowed outside while we were there. Way fun.  The kids just love the cabin.

Averi is totally getting on her hands and knees. I am so not ready for a crawler.  My life will be over.  That means I have to have the house clean all the time.  That is hard to do. There is always some sort of stuff on the ground.

slacker again

wow i have been slacking on my posts again!

Last weekend ricky and i got a babysitter for the first time in this house. she was a girl from our ward. we went to dinner and a movie with bobby and mary (my brother and sister in law). that was way fun. i saw my babysitters mom the next morning at a breakfast and she said her daughter said I dont know how she does that all day long. Pretty funny.

Sunday was mothers day. that was way fun. i get to sleep in twice a year. Mothers day being one and the other is my birthday. I got breakfast in bed and lots of fun crafts from the kids. Ricky got me new sunglasses. I guess he was sick of the ones I was wearing because the lens always pops out because the frame was broken. I still loved them though. He did a great job picking new ones out. I love them. then we had church. then we had rickys parents over for dinner. that is always fun to have them over because we rarely get them one on one.

Monday was a shop day. we ran to work to get ready for the week. then i had a PTA meeting at the school. At our school the parents are required to attend 3 throughout the year. I had only done one and this was the last one so I went. I really like it because i feel like i am in the "know" on everything going on.

Tuesday-Ricky had a work meeting and class. I did the norm.

Wednesday- Trent had a meet the teacher at MTA for kindergarten next year. He was way excited and wanted homework already.

Thursday-Work and the norm.

Friday-I had an eye doc and Ricky got ready for Father and Sons overnight. The boys were so excited. Tyson didnt know what was going on but Race and Trent were stoked. I had a gift certificate from my sister in law for a pedicure so I took Kali to go get one with me. It was so fun. Then we went to dinner and shared some nachos. She was so fun to have one on one. She is so cute and sure talkative.

sunday- i stayed home with tyson, averi, and trent. trent threw up sat so i didnt want to take him. ricky went to a meeting at 9 then drove around a boy to collect fast offerings. then came home and picked up race and kali and took them to church. kali was excited to learn the song they are going to sing for mothers day in primary. they are also making a craft.

monday-i stayed home and did the norm. clean, laundry and work. monday was the first day of swim team. my life is over now. swim team is mon-thurs. after school at 4 for trent and kali and 4:30 for race. then when school gets out it is twice a day. mornings and afternoons. it is a huge commitment but the kids love it.

tuesday-the day started out with dentist appts that we had to be there at 7:15 for sedation for kali. the dentist is in peoria. we all went because i thought trents appt was at 8 too with sedation at 7:15 but it wasnt until 9 and we didnt have time for that. so i rescheduled trent. race was getting a filling too but he didnt have to be sedated. (the dentist gives them a drink and it helps them to be sleepy if that is really sedating??) race ended up getting a "baby root canal". evidently a cavity was almost to his nerve or something like that and they put a cap on his tooth as well. it is a baby tooth but it wont come out until he is 12. he did great though. kali was sort of bratty when she was coming out of her sleepiness. i was a little embarrassed. then kali lost a tooth yesterday too.

ricky had his tempe fire interview yesterday. he says he did the best he could. ricky got there about 35 min. before his actual interview but he heard that if you are there 30 min prior they will give you your questions and you can look them over. when he arrived a lady told him they had a cancellation and they could take him right away. so he said sure. she said when you go in there will be 5 firefighters, herself, and one other person. she said shake their hands, sit down and your 5 questions will be on a paper in front of you on the desk. pick them up and read them for a few minutes then they will start. so he did. he was really nervous for the first question but then loosened up. the board is not allowed to respond or talk back to you at all. the questions were decent he said nothing too hard. he answered them all with details and did the best he said he could have done. no regrets. go ricky. he wont hear from then for another 2 weeks at least. today is week 4 for phx fire and he was told he should get the results of that test between 4-6 weeks so hopefully soon.

Wed-well it is the start of wednesday and i am sure i am home. tyson threw up two times last night so who knows what today will be like.

where did last week go? Lets see... Sunday was a normal sunday at home. Monday normal day at home doing laundry and cleaning up from the day. Kali wanted her hair shorter so we went to Marys and she cut Kalis hair. It really has been much easier to do. Tuesday was a normal day too. My sister Nanci went through all her clothes and gave me a TON of new clothes. I loved it. It took me 2 hours to go through it all. THANKS! Tuesday night Trent had a t-ball game. He loves it. Wednesday Ricky woke up not feeling too hot. He started with a tummy ache. I went with him to Gilbert to hang with all the girls because they were making aprons for the annual Manning Mothers day brunch. Ricky went to work for a few min. then came back to his moms and fell asleep. Then we came home to get the kids from school. Then on Thursday I woke up with the bug and averi too. not too fun. we pretty much laid on the couch all day. friday we were feeling much better. i went and got my hair done. yeah. that was a much needed outing. ricky went to meet a lady at an elementary school. then we went and spoiled the kids and got them the new Wii Mario Kart with the wheel. We got two wheels. they seem to love it. i really like it too. Here are a few pics. One is Trent reading a book to Averi. He just loves her so much. Another pic of the clothes.
