again!

here i go again waiting so long to post.

general conference was great. we had a blast at the cabin. it was very relaxing and it was COLD. it was fun to wear a sweatshirt.

last monday tyson had his 18 month check up. he was 91% for his height and 19% for his weight. he is tall and skinny. he eats all day long i would think he would have been heavier than that. he had to get one shot, but since it was only one he didnt cry. i was able to pick him up right away so he was okay. he did give the nurse a not so nice look though. it was funny.

thursday-my sister and mother in law took me to lunch for a "sprinkle" for our new baby. it was so fun just hanging with the girls with no kids. ricky took trent and tyson and did some work errands with them. that was so nice of him. while we were there the girls were talking a little about their hubbies and wow i think ricky is the best. he does so much for me. how did i get so lucky? the girls got me a lot of my "big" things that i was needing. i got a monitor, that new bumbo thing, and a swing. they were so nice. then my mother in law got kali and averi matching jackets with their names on them. kali LOVED it. my sister in law summer gave me her normal gift which is a homemade blanket, sling and burp rags. i will take some pics. they are all so cute. it is silky pink with zebra print on the back. i love it. she is so creative and so nice. my other sister in law gave me a cute cute dress for the holiday season. it is brown velvet. way cute! they were all way too nice. THANKS!

on thursday i also had a doc appt. it was my first "check". i was a 1 and 70%. that is typical for my first checks. he said he felt the babies head so she is pretty down low.

Wow also on Thursday our toilet was overflowing. we had to have a plumber out. it was the same line as the washer and dryer and the kitchen sink. i used every towel in the house to keep it from coming in the kitchen on the wood floor. the plumber was able to fix it though. evidently there were tree roots growing inside the pipes. yikes! what a mess.

so i just got caught up on all the towels. we just hung out at home for most of the day yesterday. it was nice. the weather was beautiful outside. we did go run a few errands. i am in charge of my wards parties so i realized that i only have 2 weeks until my wards annual fall festival so we ran a few errands for that and made a few returns.

ricky has meetings this morning at 8 and i have one at 9 so i better get going.

BTW-it is official. the babies name is Averi Louise Rogers.
