So to embellish:
Last Monday we at swim team my niece ashley called and wanted to come over. So on our way to Gilbert we picked up Ashley and Kyle and headed out to hang because we hadnt seen Steve and Ellen for like 2 weeks. That was fun. Ashley and Kyle ended up staying with us until Wednesday. It is always fun to see them. I dont hardly ever get to see them because they live too far. The kids love it when they come over. They swam and just hung out with the Wii.
On Thursday my sister in law calls to tell us she is having identical twins. She has a 10 month old boy right now. Her and my brother in law were sort of on the shock/freaking out side. They will do great. We are all hoping for girls for them. She is already about 12 weeks. we are excited for them. it will be weird to watch identical twins. how weird would that be if you knew someone that looked JUST like you??? weird but fun.
On Saturday all the Rogers adults were getting together for Fathers Day but since Ricky and I drive to Gilbert 4 times during the week we try not to drive out there for other things. So we decided to meet Steve and Ellen at the Rain Forest Cafe in Tempe for Father's Day. It was fun. Mary took Tyson so we could actually sit for lunch. Ellen got Ricky some hot dog grilling sticks for Father's Day. We got Steve some triathlon gear and black licorice. Then we went out to dinner with my side of the family adults only. We went to Pinnacle Peak Patio. It is one of my dads favorite places. It was really fun. We were also celebrating my dads birthday which is today the 17th. We got my dad a new wii game and remote with Nanci and Brett.
On Sunday it was Fathers day. We did breakfast in bed and a way nice church time. I got Ricky a gift certificate for a new swim suit. He needs one bad but he is so picky it is hard to shop for him. My parents came over for dinner and dessert.
Yesterday-Ricky started the no carb diet for the next couple of weeks. He and my sister in law are challenging each other to see who can lose the most weight by the 12th. We will see. There is a great prize in the end.
