Yesterday was my HEAVEN!
yesterday Ricky baptized our first born Race. it was so neat. race was so excited, not nervous at all. my grandma also got baptized. she is 88 years old. it was so neat to have Race at 8 and my gma at 88. my grandma out of the blue, decided it was time for her to get baptized. she is living with my brother and sister in law mary. mary has been a huge influence on her. THANKS MARY! we started in the chapel. there were 9 people getting baptized that day. after each ward was sent to do the baptistry our group came back to the chapel because there were about 80 of us. we had a testimony meeting and my mom gave a little talk. race was confirmed by rickys dad. he did a great job. THANKS STEVE! sitting in that chapel feeling the spirit was a bit of my heaven. I had ALL my family there in one room, the chapel. just us. we were missing a few family members but all in all it was so neat. i had my in laws and my immediate family and my cousins. i really felt like this might be what heaven is like. it was so neat. thanks everyone for coming. you made the day so special for grandma and race. after the baptism we went to the back of the stake center parking lot and had Bid D's cater. Big D's is guy in our ward that makes food out of a trailer. We did hamburgers and hotdogs. He specializes in breakfast food but the hamburgers and hotdogs and french fries were really good too.
