horrible

i have been so horrible at blogging.  we have been g

o go go.  jeff and becky are here from texas so we have been trying to go out there to hang with them.  

the ward party was good i guess.  everyone said they had fun. i was sure glad when it was over.  

the kids had a fun last week of school before the break.  we did all the fun crafts and movies on  friday.  

saturday we had the pierson/inman annual christmas party at the park.  it is always so much fun to see the cousins.  we did have a white elephant game this year.  it was funny.  the big hit was a beta fish.  all the kids wanted it.  then we had the manning christmas eve party that evening.  we did it at rickys aunts church building. it turned out really nice.  we played some fun games and ate great food.  the kids had so much fun and of course santa made a visit.  

christmas eve- we just hung out at home with the kids and then headed over to rickys uncles house in mesa for our annual rogers christmas eve.  we did the live nativity with all the kids then santa came.  the kids had a blast.  

the kids were so excited to come home and go to bed.  this year we didnt have anything to put together.  that was very nice.  normally we are up really late.  

race woke up first christmas morning first.  i heard him bolt down the hall way.  i let him go wake everyone else up.  they all came out and opened their stockings and santa presents.  then we continued with presents from ricky and me.  it was fun.  then we all jumped in the shower and took off to my moms for the yummiest breakfast of the year. everyone was able to make it.  all my siblings and all their kids.   my mom makes the best cinnamon rolls.  we got to my moms and breakfast was ready.  we ate and then all came together and opened presents.  the kids all went first and then the adults.  it was so much fun.  

then we went over to ellens for lunch and our present exchange with the family.  that is always so much fun too.  the siblings have just as much fun as the adults.  

then we went back to my moms for dinner.  then we came home.  it was such a fun day. ricky and i just love being with the family.  

the next day we ran some errands and did some returns.  then played with toys.  then on thursday we went out to Gilbert to hang with the family. we went by the house we put a bid on and showed some more of the family.  we also went to Peter Piper for lunch.  all of rickys brothers and sisters went too.  then we went out to dinner with some of rickys friends from high school.  we always try to get together at least once a year.
